Marie Kondo and moving on

I've been doing Marie Kondo to my house and I LOVE it. I'm not one that hoards or hangs on to 'stuff,' but I've found with this method, I've discovered things I forgot I had, or that I haven't used and want to again.
Instead of getting rid of stuff I don't like or use or wear, Kondo teaches to keep the things you love, or things that 'spark joy.' And that is a game changer, folks!

I actually feel lighter, if that's possible. I have only the things I want and will use. I still have to go through the kitchen and papers part of Kondo, but I have no worries that I will soon and will love the results.

Anyway, the reason I bring this up is because I went through my writing tote...a tote full of notebooks and loose papers. It was so exciting to find forgotten poems, ideas and partly written stories. The spark for writing is slowly coming alive again. I've hit a hard spot recently. With a daughter coming home from a church mission and one getting married, plus everything else going on during summer, and everyone home, I haven't had the time or privacy to write.

I'm going to post a few of my things as I clean out my writing mess. And then, then, I might be done with this blog. I've been wondering if it's a distraction. I like to post my conference notes and other ideas that I hope will help me be a better writer, but honestly, I've never looked at them again.

I've enjoyed keeping this blog.
I've enjoyed writing here. I'm sure it's helped with my other writing.
