New cover for HP Sorcerer's Stone

It's been fifteen years since Sorcerer's Stone first came out?? WOW Scholastic is celebrating the 15th anniversary by commissioning Kazu Kibuishi to illustrate all seven books. 

 

 What do you think of the new cover? I like it. When I first glanced at it I thought Harry had wings. Then I looked again and realized it was a white owl. But then I wondered--are the wings symbolic? What do you think?
