Yes, in fact. I was researching a novel a few years back and my search brought me to a few books on Easter Island. A couple that I remember using were EASTER ISLAND by Caroline Arnold and THE ENIGMAS OF EASTER ISLAND by John Flenley. I hope that helps. :-)
