More fall pictures...

Thanks for your patience while I workworkwork on this story!

I. Love. Autumn.

I love autumn.  The smells. Wearing sweaters again. Drinking hot cocoa every day. Snuggling under a heavy quilt. Pumpkin bread. This is my favorite season.  Hubby and I went up the canyon yesterday and we took a ton of pics. He started laughing at me because I kept saying, "Oh! Wow!". It was a gorgeous day. I'm deep in revisions/edits. I hope to get my MS out to the agent who asked for it no later than November. I really, really want to meet that goal. So that means my blog won't have many new posts. Sorry. For the next week or two, I'll post some of our Autumn 2012 pictures for your viewing pleasure. I hope you like them. There is no way to capture the majesty of the colors on the hills.  Love you all! Have a great autumn. I'll be back soon.

Cover Reveal!~ ABANDON by Elana Johnson

DUDE! Elana's third book in the Possession series is coming out soon and today is the cover reveal. Are you ready for it?
But first you need to know Elana's giving out a fun prize with a fun way to earn it:
Elana is running a Pinterest contest for the cover. She wants to get 500 pins (or repins) over the next two days. If we can get that many, she'll pick someone who pinned the cover to win a $50 Amazon gift card.  It's so easy to do this. All you have to do is click this PIN IT button and select one of your boards to pin the cover to. Elana has done everything else! Don't have a Pinterest board yet? Put it on your Tumblr page. Your Facebook page. Your twitter stream. Elana will count those too! Just be sure to tag her (@ElanaJ on twitter, Possession by Elana Johnson on Facebook).

Are you ready to see the new cover?

Book description:

seduced by power,
broken by control,
and cons…

Women of Strength by Tristi Pinkston

The need for courageous, faithful women has never been greater than it is today. As we draw nearer to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, we are faced with temptations on every side. But we can prevail as we gain true strength from living the gospel.

Women of Strength, Tristi Pinkston shares inspiring stories, as well as insightful quotes from Church leaders, to demonstrate the power and influence of righteous women. This book invites women everywhere to deepen their relationship with the Savior, rely on the guidance of the Holy Ghost, and learn what it really means to be strong.

"If you are a woman who has wondered if you matter, if you are a woman who is concerned about the world, if you are a woman who has ever felt lost, afraid, or defeated . . . you need Women of Strength by Tristi Pinkston. When you read this book, you will discover your true worth, learn just how valuable you are, and find ways to turn the tide of evil flooding our world today." --C.S. Bezas, author …

Where's Your Novel?

'The long-lived books of tomorrow are concealed somewhere amongst the so-far unpublished MS's of today.'  ~Philip Unwin

Where is your novel today?  Page one? Halfway through? Waiting for the ending?
Somewhere, concealed inside you, the writer, is an amazing story. For me, for us, sit down and write today. Then again tomorrow and every day until you type two words: THE END

We, the readers, thank you.
I'm going through the second revision of NOT ME, my psychological thriller. Um, with no ending. Why? Because I'm not sure I want to know the truth of Angelica, my main character. But the story is flowing. I'll get there.

So, where are you in your writing? Let us know. Check in with us!
